are an ideal starting-point for daily trips to the island Helgoland or
the island Neuwerk. Towns like Bremerhaven, Bremen and Hamburg are most
suitable for daily trips.
For nordic-walking or walking tours is the landscape ideal. Especially
for trips by bicycle is the countyside marvellous.

all kinds of watersport are offered like sailing, surfing and swimming.

Dorum-Neufeld you'll find on the beach a big
open-air swimming pool as
well as two wellness indoor swimming pools. The attraction in
Dorum-Neufeld is the lighthouse "Eversand" located near by the cutter
harbour. You can visit the lighthouse and from the top of the
lighthouse and you can overlook the Northsea (mud fluts) and the
landscape.
In
Cuxhaven you'll find beaches which have a distance of
serveral miles. Most of the beach is sandy.
